I recently had the pleasure of staying at Captain Cook Holiday Village 1770, and I must say, my experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment Corey warmly welcomed us and offered complimentary DVD rentals when we had TV troubles, to his gracious after-hours assistance, the staff's friendliness shone throughout our stay. Despite the slightly dated cabin, it was impeccably clean, and the comfortable bed ensured a restful night's sleep.What truly stood out was the unexpected early check-in call, a first in all my travels, showing exceptional communication and efficiency. The quiet and efficient air conditioning was a blessing in the summer humidity, complemented by the lovely balcony for peaceful moments. Although the sandflies were a nuisance, the serene environment with birdsong and well-maintained grounds made up for it. The location between Seventeen Seventy and Agnes Water provided a strategic base for exploring nearby beaches, adding to the value of this remarkable stay. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to the area.
